Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc. was formed in 1995 to meet the increasing need for wildlife assistance in North Mississippi. MWR, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization where each year hundreds of injured and orphaned wild birds and mammals are cared for by MWR volunteers. MWR also offers a variety of education programs for community festivals, civic organiations and thousands of school children annually.

Arkabutla Lake Wildlife Rehabilitation & Nature Center (ARK) will facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Mississippi wildlife. The ARK will also feature hands on exhibits and classrooms open to the public.
Did we mention the 2 mile nature trails!
Successfully nurture, rehabilitate and release injured or orphaned indigenous wildlife to their natural habitats; Educate the local community in environmental, conservation, and habitat destruction issues; Provide information and assistance to the public.
