About Us
Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc. (MWR) was founded in 1995 to meet the increasing need for wildlife assistance in north Mississippi. MWR is a non-profit organization assisting hundreds of injured and orphaned wild birds. MWR also offers a variety of education programs for community festivals, civic organizations and thousands of school children annually.

MWR is dedicated to caring for orphaned and injured native species of wildlife in Mississippi; and to educating the public on the importance of wildlife preservation and the protection of their native habitats.

Building the Ark
Arkabutla Lake Wildlife Rehabilitation & Nature Center (ARK) will facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Mississippi wildlife. The nature center will also feature hands on exhibits and classrooms open to the public. Did we mention the 2 mile nature trails!
